Dear PHA Community,
As you may know, since early September the country of Haiti has been paralyzed by violent civil unrest which has led to roadblocks, demonstrations and gang violence leading to the lack of free flow of water, fuel, food, and medical supplies from major ports and airports.
Our hearts go out to the Haitian people impacted by this ongoing situation, and our hope is that Haiti will soon find peace, security and stability.
If you would like to support the people of Haiti, below are three organizations where the funds raised will go directly to support the citizens of Haiti:
Hope for Haiti: Hope for Haiti’s mission is to improve the lives of the Haitian people, particularly women and children.
Save the Children: Save the Children has been a leading charity for children in Haiti since 1978, and through sponsorship since 1985, providing a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
Haitian Health Foundation: HHF provides health care, education assistance, community development, and relief services to more than 250,000 people in more than 100 rural villages.
