Amy Dickson

Amy Dickson is the High School Assistant Principal (Grades 9-10). Amy’s previous tenure at PHA included nine years as a Biology Teacher, during which time she held numerous teacher-leader positions including New Teacher Mentor and Science Department Coordinator. She departed PHA to join the district leadership team of the Burlington-Winooski School District in Vermont, working as a Teacher-Learning Coordinator for three years. In this role, Amy led professional development, provided direct coaching to teachers, and developed proficiency-based grading practices for the district. In the past year, Amy has worked as an Instructional Coach with the Boston Teacher Residency. Amy holds a BA from Swarthmore College and an MAT from Smith College.
