Karen Kolman

Education: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - BA; Sposato Graduate School of Education - MET
 
Previous work experience: Before coming to PHA, Ms. Kolman began her teaching career in 2010 in Santiago, Chile where she taught second grade. Then she returned stateside and moved to the Boston area. Ms. Kolman taught in Jamaica Plain at MATCH Community Day for one year and has spent the last 8 years teaching first, second and third grade at CDCPS Gateway in Lawrence, MA. While at Gateway, Ms. Kolman was the math curriculum advisor for third grade for the Community Day network.
 
Hobbies and interests: Ms. Kolman enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, reading and spending time with friends.
