Erica Harryman

In her role as K-6 Humanities Curriculum Coordinator, Erica works with the campus and district leadership to determine key priorities in literacy and social studies instruction and create effective plans to address the priorities. She supports leadership and teachers to understand and implement curriculum as well as content area best practice, in service of identified student learning goals. 
Prior to joining the PHA team, Erica spent twenty-two years in the education field as an elementary teacher, mentor, and instructional coach. Erica has a bachelor's degree in guidance and counseling, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington, a master’s degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in curriculum, instruction, and assessment at Walden University. 
Her key hobbies and interests include spending time with family, traveling, learning about other cultures, and reading.
