PHA AT A GLANCE

The PreK to College Journey PHA is a tuition-free, PreK to Grade 12 college prep charter public school. Admission is lottery-based and open to all Massachusetts residents with preference given to siblings and to Somerville and Cambridge residents.

Top-Rated For College Success PHA consistently places among the top high schools in the nation per U.S. News & World Report in its annual “Best High Schools” ranking. In 2023, Niche rated PHA among the top ten charter high schools in the Boston area. Aided by our Alumni Support program, 72% of our alumni graduate from college, significantly outpacing the 59% national average.
