Education: Simmons University, BA in Sociology; Simmons University, Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
 
Previous work experience: 2 years in Newton, MA at Countryside Elementary teaching 4th grade, currently in 8th year at PHA, first 7 were also teaching 4th grade. Now a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist for UE.
 
Hobbies and interests: Singing, cooking, visiting family in Dallas, enjoying time with niece and nephews, social justice, intersectional feminism, Netflix
 
Why did you choose to work at Prospect Hill Academy?: "I believe in the power of Restorative Justice. I am passionate about disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and closing the opportunity gap. PHA has given me the freedom to explore my educational interests and become a leader. I am able to pursue my interests as I become a school leader. The staff at Franklin Street are the best colleagues anyone could have. Most importantly, our students are outstanding!"
