Sarah Joslyn Wahl

As the Prospect Fellows Coordinator, Sarah Joslyn Wahl designs and implements PHA’s own teacher residency program, which provides an internal pipeline of diverse, well-prepared teaching candidates. Sarah comes to PHA after seven years with Breakthrough Collaborative, where she worked at local and national levels to create programming to train teachers, instructional coaches, and directors to provide rigorous, engaging, culturally-relevant instruction for middle school students across the country. Sarah also taught 8th grade humanities at the Community Charter School of Cambridge and supported educators in the Boston Public Schools at the Boston Plan for Excellence. A “double Jumbo,” Sarah has both a BA in English and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University. In her spare time, Sarah knits, bikes, does yoga, and chases after her 2- and 4-year-old daughters.
