Rachel Freedline

Rachel Freedline joined the Prospect Hill team in 2016 as our Expanded Learning Coordinator. In this capacity, she oversees the STEAM Saturday and Junior Journey programs and helps to bring expanded learning opportunities to students across K-12. Before PHA, she worked as the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at Brandeis University where she liaised many Boston-area companies to hire Brandeis students for internships and jobs. At PHA, she hopes to further strengthen community ties as well as forge new partnerships to enhance student learning. Rachel began her career as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member and served two years at Boston-area non-profit organizations that helped to enhance student learning in Boston Public Schools. She is thrilled to join the #PHAmily and return to her K-12 education roots. Rachel earned her BA at Manhattanville College and an A in the one graduate level economics course that she was able to complete at Brandeis’ Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She mentions this economics class,  because the only reason she was able to do so was by employing all of her STAR Skills (Self-Awareness, Tenacity, Attitude, and Relationships), tenets of the High School & CI curriculum.
