Multilingual Family Liaisons
PHA's Family Liaison team works closely with all of our teachers and specialists to provide equitable access for Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Spanish-speaking families in order to welcome and support family involvement in their child’s education at PHA and to improve home-school communication.
Our liaisons provide language support in some of the following ways:
- Live interpretation during Parent-Teacher conferences, Back to School Night, Open Houses, and other school events
- Follow-up calls with family members before and after events and meetings to answer any questions families may have
- Translating school communications
