Join PHA staff and representatives from the Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Everett, and Malden Police Departments for a Family Forum on Thursday, June 2 at 5:30pm on Zoom. This meeting is scheduled as a follow-up to our April 29 Family Forum with Cambridge Police where families requested to obtain more information on student safety in the community.
The interactive Family Forum will center on: 1) how to keep children safe over the summer outdoors and on social media; 2) how to recognize signs of concern that may lead to illegal activities; and 3) what to know about the potential consequences of engaging in such activities. The Forum is further intended to begin breaking down some of the barriers that may exist between the police, our communities, and our students and families.
