New MBTA (subway and bus) Student Cards

Beginning in September 2017 and effective for the 2017 – 2018 school year, PHA will make available Student Stored Value CharlieCards (aka S-Cards) to students using public buses and subway trains. The S-Card is available through the school free to students. Once the card is registered by the school in the student’s name, families then add value to the card using any MBTA Fare Vending Machine.
