Ashley Mathews

Education: Bachelor's degree from Rollins College in marine biology and environmental studies

 

Previous work experience: I was a marine observer for NOAA last summer. A marine observer is the biologist on commercial fishing boats who keep track of discard data. I also taught high school biology at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School last school year.

 

Hobbies and interests: I like to crochet and I'm an avid reader. I also play soccer, kickbox, and hike. I like to go camping and I love traveling.

 

Why did you choose to work at Prospect Hill Academy?: I chose to work at Prospect Hill Academy because I am excited to use our eight core values to guide curious learners to explore, discover, and embrace the wonders of the natural world.
