School Bus Transportation Program

During the 2026-2027 school year, PHA is launching a pilot School Bus Transportation Program for our PreK-5 students. In partnership with Malden Trans, Inc. we will run three bus routes: one starting in Revere and stopping in Everett; one starting in Woburn and stopping in Medford and Somerville; and one starting in Watertown and stopping in Cambridge (see the FAQ below for route details).

Admission into the Transportation Program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Access the application using the button below.

Please note that this is a pilot program, which will allow us to test the routes and implementation logistics as well as establish base lines for utilization and need.

This pilot program will NOT transport students in grades 6-12 and will not drive students to our Cambridge campus. Students in grades 6-12 may request an M7 MBTA card so they can utilize public transportation at no cost to them.

The pilot School Bus Transportation Program is offered to families at no monthly cost, however a $50 non-refundable registration fee is required to hold a student’s seat on the bus.

If you receive an email indicating that your child has been offered a seat on the bus, you have 48 hours to pay the $50 registration fee online and secure that seat. Failure to pay by the stated deadline will result in you losing the seat. Payments must be submitted online via credit or debit card, Venmo, ApplePay, or PayPal. The payment link will be provided via email.

It is crucial that you do not delay your application and the subsequent payment of the registration fee. A seat on the bus is not guaranteed and we can only accommodate the first 45 students per bus route. Please make sure you regularly check your email.
