Student Services Overview

The Student Services Department at Prospect Hill Academy provides and oversees services that support students with diverse learning needs.  In accordance with state and federal regulations, Prospect Hill Academy is committed to ensuring that all students receive a free and appropriate public education which fosters academic, emotional, physical, and social growth.  Prospect Hill Academy is committed to an inclusive philosophy of education. It is our belief that students with disabilities should be educated, to the maximum extent possible, with their same age peers.  Our vast range of services and programs promote supportive learning environments that encourage all students to reach their individual potential while maintaining high performance standards.

The Student Services Department oversees the following programs:

  • Special Education
  • Section 504
  • English Language Education
  • Civil Rights
  • Education for Homeless Children (McKinney-Vento Act)
  • Health and Wellness

The department also provides school adjustment counseling, speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy for eligible students.
