PHA's first day of school is coming up in one week, on September 2nd! Mark these important back to school events on your calendar:
- 8/27: Upper Elementary Schedules & Scoops, 3:30 PM – 5 PM (17 Franklin St, Somerville)
- 8/28: Early Childhood Back to School Day, 3:30 PM – 5:15 PM (15 Webster Ave, Somerville)
- 8/28: Middle School Back to School Night, 5 PM – 7 PM (50 Essex St, Cambridge)
- 9/2: First Day of School for Grades 1-12
- 9/2-9/3: PreK & Kindergarten Family Interviews/Screenings, By appointment
- 9/4-9/5: PreK & Kindergarten Noon Dismissal

We are honored and thrilled to announce that PHA is one of 150 local-area nonprofits selected by Cummings Foundation for their 2025 $30 Million Grant Program!

Happy last day of school and first day of summer! Can you believe that today marks the end of our culminations and celebrations of the 2024-25 school year? Across campuses, we’ve celebrated our students, their lived experiences, and cultures. More significantly, we’ve celebrated their achievements, their growth, and development from the Grade 10 Gateway Projects to Grades 7/8 Stories of Growth Projects from Grade 6 Bridging Ceremony to the Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony.

On May 3rd, PHA held our annual International Night event, one of two signature PreK-12 community events held during the school year. PHA students, families, staff, and community members enjoyed a fun and festive evening celebrating our global and multicultural PHAmily with a delicious meal and performances from around the world.
